We love visitors! If you're easily overwhelmed, the Saturday night Vespers service is a great place to start. We stand for a long time, so you might consider wearing comfortable but respectable shoes. If you come on Sunday, it's OK to arrive at 9:45-10 for Liturgy. As you get more comfortable, we recommend coming to both Vespers and Orthros/Liturgy. Vespers is normally at 5:00 PM on Saturday night, Orthros at 9:00 AM on Sunday, followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:00. The service normally ends around 11:15 AM, and is followed by the Refectory Service (potluck). It's a great time to ask your questions and have good food. You absolutely do not need to bring food when you visit. Following lunch there is an inquiry class where you can ask the priest any of your 'burning' questions.
We are located at 1275 N Grand Ave, Pullman, Washington, in the same parking lot as Pizza Hut and Golden Teriyaki.

How should I dress?
Dress as you would for an important event. After all, you are coming to offer worship to your Creator. Modesty is key: no flashy or loud clothing, or 'revealing' attire (like shorts or miniskirts). This applies to men and women equally.
How do I behave?
Just observe what is going on around you with others, and you will be fine. Nobody will embarrass you if you don't understand what is happening. You won't be singled out. Please do not use your cell phone during the services.
Can I take Communion?
The Orthodox Church reserves Communion to those who have been received into the Orthodox Church and have properly prepared themselves through prayer, fasting, the Sacrament of Confession, and acts of charity. St. Paul warns Christians to take Communion seriously.
Can I partake of the common meal (a.k.a. potluck) after the Sunday Divine Liturgy?
Yes! Please be our guest!
Can I attend Inquiry Class after the Sunday Divine Liturgy?
Yes! Class is open to everyone. Your questions are welcome. If you cannot stay for the whole class, that's OK.
Am I allowed to talk to the clergy?
Yes, we are always available to everyone.
I have children. Are they welcome?
Our parish is full of young families, so children are most certainly welcome. We have an indoor play space for them, along with a nursing mothers' room (the usher can let you in). We do ask that you please keep an eye on them. You can also read our Archdiocese's Youth Protection Policy, which is our standard.
Are service animals permitted?
No, the Archdiocese does not permit animals in the building, and this is affirmed by Title III of the ADA.
Can I convert to the Orthodox Faith but not attend services?
No, regular attendance is a requirement.
